What a whirlwind first week with so many revelations about the business and the incredible capabilities it holds.

I knew their solutions were broader than the common assumptions, but WOW! Like many, I wasn’t fully aware of the depth of development and the breadth of capabilities that map16 offers across all asset types.

It’s exciting to see the agile nature of the business and its platform-based, solution-driven product; a modern technology stack that isn’t “migrating” from legacy systems, but fully built for today’s needs.

With native mapping seen here built into the solution, innovation flows rather than stagnates under old technology or restrictive third-party GIS tools. This creates unique opportunities for clients to leverage digital asset management and mapping innovation, delivering rapid time-to-value and cost-effective customisation.

These features enable seamless integration across asset management and infrastructure systems, including:

  • Ingesting and accurately presenting data from sensors, IoT devices, AI-driven asset capture, and condition monitoring tools enabling PAS2161 compliance with your chosen Approved Technology provider

  • Integrating with corporate financial systems (client and contractor), while updating other GIS mapping and asset management systems

  • Receiving orders from any system, then returning work completions inclusive of asset updates, work order closures, and applications for payment in line with contract requirements

Finally, the addition of a flexible, built-in messaging system (be it native or connected to Teams) across both mobile and enterprise solutions enables real-time collaboration. This streamlines communication, improves service delivery, and ensures messages can be archived locally on platforms like SharePoint, or against the work order itself - to support both auditability and continuous business improvement.
